The point of watch the video is that I wanted to make a pre-charged portable air tank. I've been looking around in hardware stores and other related places for fittings and air hoses, but i've found no luck in finding such a product.

Was wondering if anyone knew where to find those air hoses because my airsoft guns will be so much more easier if you didn't have to floor pump it in the midst of battle, where you can just change your empty air tank into the precharge tank.

Thanks [/youtube]

Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

Very ghetto, you look like you need some hose barbs and some quick disconnects. But your system is set up so you would have to make some big changes for that to work. Like not using the schrader for the outlet. I'll say what you've probably heard before, you could use pvc ( that would be heavier, and safer).

I think with the soda bottle you might just be stuck with what you have, unless you moved the schrader valve to the bottom of the bottle and put a quick-disconnect coupler in the cap (with a lot of epoxy). Good luck.

I think that you would be better off using quick disconnects, like these. It would be easier to use along with an air compressor, and it would be faster to change pressurized bottles in the middle of a battle.

Also, I hope you aren't going to use a soda bottle for your air tanks :?

If you pause the video at 37 seconds you can see he has a male nipple you can find right next to your blowguns at lowes or any other hard ware store. I believe it is 1/4 NPT. Thats screwed into the blowgun and then into a standard compressor hose. He then TAPED (i recommend skipping this part) the compressor hose to what looks like a cut off piece of a bike pump hose.

Frank had stated above that shraders use 1/8 threads. What i would do is go look at your local hardware store and find a 1/8 NPT coupling, if they exsist. Ahh poo, just realized the shrader has a check valve. Hmmmmm.

Well, as potatoflinger said. Your best bet may be quick disconnects. im sure after you get ahold of some you can figure it out.
