Im not normally into commercially made airsoft guns, but I saw an electric pistol at china town for 8 bucks so I decided to grab it. I mounted this to a cool kit I have called VEX, I also used VEX to control the servos on an old Traxxis electric RC car. To top it off I added a mini wireless camera now I have a truck that can do 25 mph, while firing semi or full auto, that I control from my TV.

Any comments or suggestions for what to add to it would be much appreciated. I have still have three servos left over so there are possibilities to add more goodies. Im thinking of adding a laser for more precise aiming.

here is the first video, I should have another one with targets soon, sorry about the jerky movement but I was controlling the truck with my left hand and filming with my right.

good stuff :)

You could increase your hit probability by upgrading the pistol to death :D

Also, a set of crosshairs on the camera would be less evident to the target, though given the fact that you're announcing your presence with cool servo noises anyway, might as well mount a laser for intimidation.

that looks great, try to modify it for a larger amount of ammunition. Perhaps upgrade with 2 guns, maybe with each controlled seperately.

Cool..A stampede (with a gun, that's pretty good I 'spose).

Do you race R/C, or just as a hobby?

I have a decked out FT T4 with an LRP vector X11 and all the goods, plus a ta-01 I'm restoring to a rally car. Plus a few other cars of little note.

Pretty cool.

Hey i have a vex system and have been trying to find a way to pull an electric pistols trigger with the servos but can find a way that works, could you posts some details and maybe more pics about how you did it thanks :)

It is much easier to mod it to run it off an electronic throttle or switch.
