Airlines finished, now testing the magazine feeder setup, some issues but nothing I can't fix. Test firing at 90psi went straight through 1/2" plywood was not expecting that

more spring tension on the loader arm then had to add extra spring to close the 'bolt', a small profile change to the ammo pusher edge and the bolt tube edge as well and it seems to work smooth now. Only a 2 second video so you might want to play it in slomo.

Almost finished now, need to make a catch to hold open the spring loaded arm on the magazine so I can load it easier, move air inlet to side as it gets in the way on the bottom when you put it down, and make a stand to rest it on and hold it upright when shooting, sort of a bipod/monopod thingy, it is shootable from the shoulder but it's pretty heavy.
Made and added a forward assist lever for chambering first round, works really nicely
Time so far I would guess at 200 hrs, cost $10 for the 1913 rail and the laser pointer, the rest was free
Used that piece of 1/2" MDF to shoot at and it goes straight through at 100psi. :bounce: now I need to build a target that can safely catch the BBs

Once again, fantastic job! Are you thinking of painting a uniform color? Seems almost a shame...

Might try some open sights on it instead of the sight thingy, it really has no function
I'll post it in the showcase when I'm happy with it, with dimensions and weight etc.

Au naturel is best
The problem with the sight is the tiny radius, front and rear sights are too close together for meaningful accuracy.

Ah yes, long gun accuracy from a short gun layout, luckily not what I was going for 8)

Pretty sure you can fit a little cheapo Chinese holographic sight in that shroud...

It's pretty good how it is now, moved the pointer to below the barrel where I originally intended it and set the sights and pointer up, fired 3 shots at 14' and wondered where 2 & 3 went until I realized they went through the same hole. I think it's time to call it finished and move on to the next one, single shot 6mm airsoft with 3/8" QEV, 400mm barrel. Going for simple and light weight. MP5 sort of scale.
