My problem is this: I am making my spring sniper, and the stuff is already in place for a magazine feeding system, so I cant go back to single shot, but heres the thing:

Its easy enough to get a a spring piston in the mag just to push the bb's up. The problem is, I cant stop double-triple feeds etc. The bbs all stream in. I need a way to make only 1 bb come out of the mag at once.

Try a system where the barrel slides inside a sleave and picks up one bb at a time, I'm sure there is a pic around here somewhere...

Some kind of o-ring or detent seems like the obvious solution.

I have a hop-up in it. But I was worried that with the power of the gun and its nature as a springer, it would still double-feed. I think I figured it out though.
Think I might post all this up in one big thread about my springer wish me luck boys!

This is exactly what you need to do. I have done a similar type of thing and used a piece of thin aluminum sheet metal, and bent it around the barrel so it was round, and super-glued it so it stayed round. You could then have a hole in the barrel that this little sleeve covers when the gun is shooting, and then opens back up again when you load.

Get a tee the same size as your pipe, sand the inside out so it's flat then cut a hole in the barrel so a bb can fit through then sleeve the tee over you barrel and glue a bit of pipe on top, put the bbs in and to load a bb, pull it over the hole then push it back again to fire. Simple pump action magazine
and if you add a spring it will work the other way round.

BTW maverik did you make your mag?

I am going to use the method someone talked about in above thread. It'll work like this:

The spring pushes bb's up, but there's an o-ring blocking entrance to the loading chamber. I cut a slit in the side of the mag tube and as part of the gun's action a small tab will slide in there and lever the bb through the o-ring while blocking the next one. Then the air nozzle comes in and pushes the bb into the barrel, there is a seal for the air nozzle.
