Hi, a number of people sell spudguns but I'm having difficulty finding an inline vortex. I've found a couple possibles such as http://www.bloomautomatic.com/index_files/bbmg but they said they are no longer in production and it isn't inline. Neospud http://neospud.com/mark3i/mark3i.html says hes taken commissions however I got no reply from him.
Is there any other possibilities for those that dont have the means to do it themselves?
I know about the strafer, but I'm after a cost effective alternative.
Inline vortex, Does anyone sell them?

What's the issue with building your own? Better than overpriced rip-offs and you can tailor it to your specifications. What do you want it for, airsoft, steel BBs, does it have to be portable, compact, what do you have as a pressure source etc.
There's a heap of information on this forum and in the , anything you don't understand just ask.

Hi Jack, yep I've seen that page and while the concept couldn't be simpler I also know its harder to make then made out. Sourcing the components and having the tools on hand being the most difficult, thats why buying it is the most viable option for me. I doubt the cost would be more then what I could do it by myself for as they should already have sources and materials all together.
I was after .177 bb's fed from an air compressor, doesn't have to be portable. I just want the main tube, piston, vortex block and barrel for me to do the stock, grip and trigger myself.

I madethis project 5 years ago using nothing but a drill and a hacksaw, surely you have these basic tools to hand, and as to materials I think the problem here is not lack of resources but lack of imaginationverm wrote:Sourcing the components and having the tools on hand being the most difficult, thats why buying it is the most viable option for me. Oh, and good quality high strength adhesive helps once you have that you're no longer tied down with standard fittings, it's not as comfortable to work with but it does open up a whole world of possibilities.
The important thing is understanding how the concept works. Once you have that, you can adapt the idea to whatever materials you can obtain.

But yes, they do sell them. The creator here is a member named neospud.

Noname used to but I havent heard from him in a while, about the materials all you need is a block of wood and for tools you can make do with a 1/2 drill bit for steel bbs and a 3/4 boar bit for plastic bbs and a quarter inch drill bit for the barrel, check the how to section for a great how to by noname, if you dont want to do any of this, just make a vortex cap all you need is a end cap and a 2 inch long piece of pipe

I sure hope he still builds Mk3-I's. Those things are puuuuuurdy. And I want one. I don't have the time to finish developing my own inline (prototype finished about a year and a half ago, the block was of unacceptable build quality and jammed often), and I need an airsoft gun. The guys are starting to get back into airsoft, and the only two with AEGs routinely kick everyone's asses.
Completed projects:
CA1 SMSS Basic Inline
CA3 PDAB Airburst Cannon
Current Project: Bolt action rifle (25x140mm + 1in shot)
