.177 CALIBER CHALLENGE - REVISED
Posted: Fri Jun 13, 2014 7:42 am
For all the builders / shooters in and around the .177 caliber range. This is for bragging rights only! Use your home built shooter, be 40 meters (or so) from your paper target with a 1" bullseye, film / video your shots, groups of three consecutive shots, tightest group gets bragging rights of being Spudfiles best shot in the .177 caliber range.
Thats it, plain and simple. Ends when I say so, so get to it as quickly as you can.
Heres a good way to film it:
Get someone to do the camera work for you that way in the begining of the video the shooting range can be seen then the camera can be carried to a posistion behind the shooter to film the shots, then carried to the target to show the shot grouping. That's about the easiest, safest and most open way of doing it that I can think of. Practice getting it done all in one video clip, then post the best clip.
Have fun and shoot safely! :bigsmurf:
Revision: Changing this to both a 40 meter and 20 meter shooting challenge. If you can get only 20ish meters distance that will be fine, same with the 40ish meter distance. The can be a best shot for both. Dam...imagine laying claim to both distances ! Something to shoot for...
