High power mini Safe of Dangerous?

Ok if i were to mix oxygen and mapp gas together as a fuel i know that it would explode any plastic chamber but what about an all copper chamber and barrel?
I have all the fittings that i need to assemble it and all the tools.
It would be a 6in log 1/2in copper barrel and it would connect to a 1/2to3/4 couple. then there would be 6in of 3/4in copper to an endcap that you can unscrew and inject fuel.
I need to know if copper can handle this rapid pressure increase and if this is safe or not.
If this is safe will it be super powerful or just a "Spudgun on Crack" as i like to say?

i think you are on crack, not the cannon. just kidding.
if any copper could, it would be M type. im pretty sure it could take it, but just to be safe i would encase the entire cannon in a larger pipe just to be safe. thats how i would do it.
you could also just get some high pressure pipe from mcmaster and not have to worry about it.
edit- it would be safer (note it would be safer, not safe) to incase the chamber in a bunch of couplers, that would double it's thickness.

Well I dont really know but copper is good because if it does explode there wont be peices of shrapnel everywhere it tends to usually just crack and bind. aahhhhh... dont ask me?

Something I feel obliged to point out that there is such thing as DWV copper, so you probably shouldn't play with that. Copper is too darned expensive around here. At my Home Depot they make you buy the full 10 foot section of whatever pipe you're buying (even copper) and copper is like $22+ USD per 10 feet...
Also, copper is a conductor and this is a combustion, so don't go shocking yourself and blaming it on hi.

ya dont blame it on me because i advise that you dont do it.

I mean standard hardware store copper and fly_salt the people at my hardware store are very very dumb lol!
What i do when i shop for 1 inch copper or if they have 2 inch i will remove the price tag from 1/4inch copper and slap it on and then have them charge me $10 ha ha!
that just says how smart people at that store are lol!
I don't have type m copper but i could put a coupler around the piping to increase it's strength.
Keep this in mind the ignition would be from a separate room via remote control or wired ignition and then the unit could be put in a wooden box or metal to control shrapnel in the event of an explosion.
I can assemble the unit and do test fires with propane, but i need to get my flyback driver operational so i can set it off from another room.
I just need to know if this would be safe to hold and shoot or would you have to put it on the ground and fire it from far away.

I think you would be better off useing steel pipeing. It is srtronger and the connections will be more sound.

with propane alone, yes. with oxygen and propane, i have no idea because i have never done it. i would really recommend putting it in a thick wood box and fireing from behind a brick wall or something, just to be safe.
this probably would be fine and because its such a small chamber would probably be able to handle it and may not generate over about 100 psi, but i have absolutly no evidence so be safe and take every precaution you can.
and again, its not my falt if it blows up and sends you to the hospital.

I have a remote ignition system that can set it off from 100feet Away and i can put the unit under old clothing and rags, or heavy fabric to stop shrapnel in the event of an explosion.
If i rap it with heavy fabric and then put it in a box filled with sand or water the explosion will be nothing more than a bang as the shrapnel won't get very far.
I just wanted to know if copper pipe could take this rapid pressure increase.
I am new to brazing so i hope to god that my solder joints stay together because if they don't the endcap could turn into a bullet and shoot right off, i saw a guy at the paintball range and the emergency valve pin shot off from the 4500psi tank like a bullet it went through his bag and into the air.
I will try this with propane first then a little oxygen with safety precautions to make sure it can hold up. And if all goes well i will do like a 75/25 mixture or 50/50.
