I payed 40 bucks for a 300k volt Stun gun, which broke today after only 1 week of use. Made me sick. It made sure it shocked the hell out of me before its death though. Anyhow, I really...really really do not wanna pay a huge amount for a decent stun gun. I've looked around on the net for stun guns, ranging from 13-100 bucks. I was wondering if anyone knew a site with cheap reliable guns that you can open up without breaking the case.

Cheapest one i've seen:

Just use Ebay. I keep getting a "message too short" pop up. Loophole.

Stun guns are very touchy but once you get it mounted in the control box for good they are usually fine unless you drop it badly or something.

I buy all mine from ebay and I have never gotten a defective one.

You REALLY need to make sure you have a good current in the battery. My guess is that the power in the battery has drained to around 7-8 volts. They need to be 9 or you will have issues.

If you want to make this run more efficiently you need to open the thing up and carefully and SLIGHTY push down on the two metallic strips crossed over each other.

You should also install a 12 volt regulator and use two 9vs to power it with a much more steady current and run the chamber fan with it as well.

I did open the gun and the spark was shooting across the circut board. I tired everything from slightly moving peices to about pissing on myself when it "bit" me

Hahaha. Yeah that happens. Make sure all the solder joints are good and that those 2 strips are not too close. They are supposed to zap right between those plates but if they are too close it will ONLY zap there.

The place it was zapping was on a screw next to a plate mounted ont he circut board. I tried loosening and tightening this after nothing else worked, but finally it made a load pop and would'nt fire at all. So I cut the switches, battery terminals, and anyhting else worth keeping off.

Uh oh, not the "Loud Pop". Yup, that's the end of it a lot of times. It sounds like you wont be givin it another shot.

Let me know if you need some help from me with getting an ignition box. I'd be happy to do some work.

Well, i've thought of doing ym own ignition bow when I actually get another gun, but every gun i've found it does'nt un screw. You have to break the damn thing open really careful. So, in the future we need to work out some sort of business deal, lol. Be awesome if you could give me a price figure for a control box with a ~65kv gun in it, on/off switch, and fire switch. Leaving the two wire out about one foot so I can put quick disconnects to use on multiple guns would be awesome.

Yes, I could easily do this all myself, but hard enough to find stuns guns like you need in a small redneck town, and does'nt help when you're in the process of yelling at pay pal about it really is your account info. Bastards.

You can get an e-mail to me at Wingless_Commander@hotmail.com
