Yes I used a return spring but it is pretty improvised for the video.

Now this piece really comes clear
I still need to know a few things
1. Rod returning spring
2. The thing where the piston slides in
3. Piston bumper

Thanks in advance

1. Return spring -> spare part
2. 1" male to 1/2" female -> 1/2" male to 1/4" female
3. No bumper but I have to say that the "washer" is extremely durable. Actually it's a rope pulley cut in half.

that looks very promising, just attach a barrel and feed mechanism and you got a semi-auto cannon :D

iv got all the parts for this just need to know, do you think that a solid lead bar would be alright for the shaft part or would it be better to cut o-ring groves in nuts and thread them on a peace of all thread.

ill be using it at 300psi.

I think lead is far to soft and doesn't take to much force. The idea with the all thread is worth a try but you might have the problem that air passes through the threads.

To fix that, use some epoxy or JB between the nut threads and bolt threads to seal it.

Hi, I made a stainless steel rod with a spring(20psi) in the end of the rod and works very nice, but i have a problem with the quick exhaust valve part, i dont have any idea how it is inside, i mean; what parts are necessary in order to work as the one of the video?
somebody can send me a internal diagram?

The valve is basically the pilot for a piston valve, explained in great detail here., it woild be hooked up to tje port marked "P" in the diagram below (where "R" would be your barrel and "A" your chamber")

You can make your own or purchase oneready made.

Thanks jackssmirkingrevenge your post is very useful, finally I understand how the equalization hole and the piston works, now i'm going to search the materials to make one piston valve.
it's gonna take me a while make one but, when it's done i'm gonna upload the pictures.

again, thanks for your help.

You could save yourself a lot of work and heartache by simply purchasing a Qucik Exhaust Valve and 3-way valve from eBay, but kudos if you decide to "roll your own" and succeed.

Yea, I'm with JSR on this one. The 3-way was more a proof of concept / challenge and it was a pain to make the rod (did it on a drill press). A commercially available 3-way valve would be cheaper and in a much smaller form factor.
