Well..seller wants 150 Euro for it.
So far I got a 75 bid on my engine.
Not gonna happen.
I'm considering doing a double barrel shotgun mold for aluminium.

I want to splice two co2 tanks together so I only have to have one regulator. I was thinking something like the two tanks with remote lines and quick disconnects leading into a tee and then the regulator, but I don't know if brass pipe fitting can take the pressure or if they even come in the right size.

So what's your question. It is possible, and the brass pipe should take the pressure. Galvanized steel definitely will.

I don't know what size and type of threads are on the tanks

5/8-18UNF-2B You will need to buy an adapter for that. I would suggest looking on ebay.

Ended up buying this:
Has a flow control which is sort of handy I guess. I tried a few shots by just opening it quickly then closing the flow control and I got velocities as low as 100fps less or 100fps more than I had measured at 300PSI with my track pump. I thought maybe I'm not opening it for long enough but I'm pretty sure that with such a short barrel, upping the pressure to 800PSI will maybe only give me an extra 150-200fps, so for all I know I could have been shooting it at close to 800PSI. I'm thinking about doing what you suggested Jack and getting a gauge. I would just shoot it at 800PSI all the time, but 500PSI should be sufficient and save me some gas.
It's kind of annoying that it originally chrony'd a .2g BB at 750fps but then the piston started leaking, I replaced it and it chrony'd at 550fps and then I replaced it again and it chrony's at about 650fps. Tried the original piston again, it works but chrony's at about 600fps. Not sure if my problem is a bad fit, too much friction or weight. Guess I'll try the weight option first and then sand the piston down a bit (1.2cm long section of hard plastic hose filled with hot glue).
Edit: Something else interesting; I've had to heavily over-estimate the gun's specs for GGDT to come up with the right results. It's giving me 550fps when I've got 750fps out of it before.
Edit 2:
It says it takes 16g cartridges but I wonder if it could take 12g too? As long as the length is the same, I think it would work.

Could the blast of CO2 be interfering with the chrony reading?
I find it helps to fire at a "standard" target while chronying, that way you have another measure for comparison.

I think the diameter is different so it should work, usually these inflator things are "universal", it should say.MrCrowley wrote:It says it takes 16g cartridges but I wonder if it could take 12g too? As long as the length is the same, I think it would work.

Could be an interference problem as today I shot a .2g BB about 2" away and it read about 850fps on the chrony. I've changed the piston again as my last one got munted, the new one gets me about 650-700fps consistently.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:I find it helps to fire at a "standard" target while chronying, that way you have another measure for comparison.

Was a real b|tch chronying today, not a cloud in the sky late in the day so the sun wasn't blocked by pieces of cardboard directly over the sensor.
The adapter doesn't thread the cartridge it only pushes it up into a gasket seal with something to puncture it, so as long as it's the same length it should work without any modification (something to add length to the 12g cartridge so it is pushed up in to the pin).

wyz reported leaks at higher (300 ps) pressures. You can get 3000 psi rated paintball slide valves though.urgle the danish cow wrote:i mean the ones that JSR recommends for semi-auto

A few months ago I brought this, so I could learn to turn and mill parts for my guns.
I have looked for information on it and the closest I can get is it similar to a HQ400.
I think it is one of the first 3 in 1 from China, about the 1980's.
It is completely manual and very well built
Can anyone translate the label below.
I believe part of it is a web site address
