idk if anyone has made this or thought of it but here it is. it is on the back of ur cannon and can be locked with a simpler pin through the hole kinda way i guess. it has to be firmly on and the rubber seal (red on the side view) or w/e kinda seal you use must but make it air tight or pretty close.
~note~ i forgot to mention that the black things on the bottom of the hatch are locker things that form and "L" shape coming off the cannon to hole the hatch in place.

Easy acces Combustion hatch.
What would you make the hatch out of?
Sheet metal would probably bend. I don't know if I would trust wood.
The rubber seal might make it a hassle to slide it back and forth.
Why not just have it swing out on a hinge, then close on a rubber gasket and lock with a tension latch thing.

It could work, but uh... why not just put a 2" ball valve on the back of the chamber? Much safer...

You could take a somewhat thick cutting board and cut that to shape, come to think about it, that might make a good piston.

i was thinkin about useing a standard treaded end, but somehow mill out parts of the threads, like on military heavy arty, that way you slide it in, and after only a quarter turn, its shut tight. hope you can picture it. thats my breech idea, and if you could mount that on a hindge, ur good to go.
