OK all of u people out there please DO NOT MAKE FUN OF ME ok. I want to know what kind of ammo i should use for 1 1/2 sch. 40 PVC barrel I know of a lot of stuff and I have already tried some and I want to know if any of you have suggestions on what to shoot because the original potato, onion, clementine, ice, and golf balls without the plastic coating on them are getting kind of old.
So please any suggestions... Maybe some that will cause major damage?

One thing that works for me is to take a piece of styro foam and cut it so that it fits into the barrel. put about 10 rocks in the barrel and put the foam behind it. it works very well and is very deadly. I have knocked about 3 pieces of wood off my wood pile with one shot.
This works best with breach loaders by the way.

Don't use rocks. I have seen barrels burst because the rocks become loged in the barrel. Bad Idea!!! Pebbles would be okay though.
A spud gun is ment to be able to shoot any thing that fits into its barrel. Use your imagination.

Milkjug caps make perfect sabots for 1.5" SCH40. Then use whatever for buckshot. I've launched TONS of rocks and never had anything bad happen... though I make sure the rock can't get wedged in the barrel before I cram it in there.
Any fruit or veggie can be cut to make a slug for any barrel under 2" or so. If I run out of spuds, apples, pears, lemons, even onions (though stinky...) will work fine.
I tend to try to make a bunch of rounds to shoot later. One thing I've frequently done is to take a paper towel tube or toilet paper tube, cut it lengthwise, "roll it" in on itself to reduce the diameter a bit (checking it inside a piece of 1.5" pipe to make sure it's right), then put a wrap or two of duct tape on it to hold the shape. Then fill the tube with whatever you have handy; rocks, garbage, wet sand, etc.... and cap the ends (using cardboard and tape). Make the front end heavier than the back end. I can't say for sure, but I think putting a tail (scrap fabric, or a strip of duct tape folded over onto itself [sticky side to sticky side]) on the back makes it fly straighter.
I'd suggest setting your canon up for interchangeable barrels so you can switch to 2" (caulk tubes... ) or 2.5" (tennis balls) or 1.5" SDR21 (duh).
Peace,
Pete Zaria.

You want damage, eh?
A while ago, I had this old, broken bike pump that was seemingly worthless. I cut the chamber off, thinking I could do something cool with it. I found out that with 1 layer of duct tape over about half of it (any more would be too much drag) it fits perfectly on a 1.5'' barrel.
How I made my missle was simple. I bent the front end in a little, then filled it about 40% with acorns. I put a sock in to hold all that in. When I shot it, the acrons jammed together and got stuck in there.
I wouldn't reccomend using it in a powerful combustion gun. It makes a huge BOOM and goes through wood with 2 seconds of hairspray
Some pics, you may find them useful

Concrete-filled caulk tubes with 1.5 wraps of duct tape from a 2" barrel are also quite impressive... I've knocked over small (3-4" diameter) trees with them.

Fill them with lead, and cut the ball off when it cools, then you'll have a lead "ping-pong" ball.Brooner115 wrote:I know black Skater I just found that out tonite that they fit so i took about two pingpong balls and then cut a little whole in them and filled them with water and put them in the freezer so tomorrow i plan on doing some damage

i would not do that, atleast not inside. if you burn a ping pong ball it makes some damn nasty smoke, and you would not want to do that inside. besides, the lead would just melt the pingpong ball, or burn it to a smokey(bad) crisp
There are rules, and then there are hundred dollar bills.
