Modding the "Wrong Type" of sprinkler valve.
I bought the exact same valve from bunnings so this is very helpful, I was hesitant to do it because I thought the thread of the air fitting might get in the way of the diaphragm, but that tute makes it easy
thanks
thanks
I only paid $14.99, so I got 2 for a spare diaphragm soMr.Russ wrote:i also vbought this valve from bunnings, but i payed $19 for it so
just wondering aswell can you drill the hole for your fitting on the side opposite the solenoid?
It doesn't matter where you drill the fitting, he just used the little indent as a reference. Make sure the hole is as close up to the guide pin as you can, so it doesn't interfere with the diaphragm.

Well it depends, if it has a guide pin then drill your hole in the side and unscrew the solenoid (the heavy black cylinder) and fill the little hole underneath it with epoxy. If it doesn't have a guide pin then unscrew the solenoid and drill your hole right on top of the small hole left by the solenoid.BOMBOMBOMB wrote:hey my like battery thing is liek in the middle what can i do its a rain bird but the battery looking thing is in the middle im not sure if its abttery buit the thing with 2 wires comming off it is dead center what can i do reply ASAP
