what i does is to use this forum as a homepage, when it says pm or an interesting topic about stuff that still interests me i will just look into it.

Exactly - it's possible for as little as 5 or 6 ft-lbs (and perhaps even less) to be fatal if your luck is poor.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

BTW, I believe the police officer was killed by a single shot to the upper chest, probably got through the rib cage and pierced his heart.

Well, obviously, the more energy, the less precise the shot placement is needed to be to be fatal.

But as a general rule, if it can pierce the skin to any real degree, it's got the potential to be fatal.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
