If you can knock the ball valve open fast enough, should be fine, but don't expect to be able to aim it.
I would put a union + burst disk instead of the ball valve, much better performance.

Haha yeah I gathered it's not going to be accurate, just for a bit of fun since I don't have a cannon at the moment. That's a pretty good idea though. I already had the ball valve so at a later date I might cut it out and use that setup.

Attached. But any respecting machine shop could take the ... -DRAW.slddrw files and view them.
Thanks Ramses.

Wow, those are perfect by the looks of it! Any idea on how heavy they are? And how did you make them?

I don't think these will be used an airsoft match somehow.
If you'd care do post a more detailed method, please do.

That doesn't sound right, 6mm lead balls should weigh around 1.28 grams/19.75 grains

Sorry, jack is probably right. I didn't got a chance to measure the weight, so I calculated it from mass density, witch would be +-12g/cm3, then I calculated the bbs size.
But still much heavier than airsoft bbs, I made them for my high power 6mms to get more power, and yes they won't be used in airsoft war.

I probably will make a video.
But it´s simple, I used 24h self-dry clay to make the mold, by using about 8 cm3 of clay with a bb inside, make sure it´s in the center of the cub., let it dry. when it´s almost dried, break it in half, then let it dry completely. So when you put them back to a cube, the join will be perfect. Drill a hole to the cavity, it´s done.

or you could use 2 aluminium blocks and mill it for a bullet shape

Where's my Chuck key?

If you use that method make sure you don't cut the block after making the mould. You'll end up with oval bullets!

I wonder if I could use this:
http://link.marktplaats.nl/538474258
One barrel as the reservoir with a lathed valve inside and the other as the actual barrel...
Sorta like over under on it's side...
I never knew I could legally buy and own this in my country...eventhough it is decommisioned and just a collectable it's pretty cool.
You Americans probably don't know what I'm all exited about....
