Although the idea of destroying her credibility might work, the police have a responsibility to handle all calls in an unbiased manner.

And if she does have a genuine emergency, how are you going to feel if the cops don't choose to respond?
Well cops in NZ start sending taxi's if they can't make it

Seriously, and one was an emergency call and the victim, a young girl, was never seen again.

We had a neighbour like this lady developing property next door, my mum called the cops non-stop but she had reason. Like they were dumping piles of soil on our driveway and we couldn't back the cars out.

After awhile the cops just talked to them both and said they can't keep on coming out, she (our neighbour) was going to have to be polite and what not.

I'd say shoot all her ca... never mind, I guess I'm just too against the rules.

And remember its not a crime if its for a good reason... I think you have a good reason.

If you can get your hands on a police scanner, you can hear when a police officer is dispatched to your house, then you'll know when to turn your music down/stop shooting your cannons. (if the police use radios where you live) The only thing you have to worry about is if she gets a video camera, the police probably won't believe her if she just makes a lot of claims, but if she gets a video of you doing something, then the police will have no choice but to believe her.

just sounds as if this woman needs some love. maybe you should go over and see if she needs a little help around the 'place'. friends are always better than enemies. obviously she has been looking out for your welfare. she must have been very concerned when she called the law enforcement. friends do that occasionally. see if she needs some 'yard work' done. like trimming her bush or mowing her lawn. don't try to do everything at first, let her warm up to you slowly. eventually maybe you could help with her 'cats', i'm sure it/they need some attention. maybe there are things she could do for you, things only an older woman could teach you. like how to impress the girls or be sensitive to their needs. just think of all the good things a young guy like you could do for this woman. the feelings you get from helping this lady will start small and eventually just burst out of you. every one will be jealous.

Gay....

jk

BRB has a point, but it may not work with this lady, and i'm sure you don't want to try.

My neighbour is about 80 something, she has strong connections with Parliament and the Government and she says she loves what I do, better then what all the other teenagers do, and she always comes to watch me shoot stuff and says I can use her driveway if I want :D

I do help her out, because she is old, so maybe bluerussetboy(BRB) is on to something :?

Just wait untill she's out in her yard and looking rite at you and......MOON HER! If that don't set her off the deep edge, nothing will. Make sure your looking back at her when you shoot the moon, you don't want to miss her jaw dropping to the dirt.

i'm notorious for helping the crazies, less fortunates, elderly. sometimes it is easy, other times exhausting. it is always rewarding. sometimes it only takes 5 minutes to change someone's life. 5 minutes helping in a teenagers life seem like it lasts forever, which is why most are glad it's over. yet 5 minutes in an elderly persons life being helped seems to go by too quickly.

i inherited the house i live in by one of the crankiest old woman i ever met. i started doing chores for her when i was 13. the house/property just appraised for $650K USD.

being nice pays off

All my other neighbors are fine with it,and one of them is close to 90yrs old.She says it's better to be doing that then sitting in a room playing computer games like her grandsons do.

And this lady is not some one I would help with anything, she's way to crazy, talkative, annoying I wouldn't doubt it if she pushed me away with a broom if I went to close to her house and her "babies". :?

I wish I had a police scanner, but they are a little bit expensive.Useful at times but expensive.

I'm going to stick with the legal annoyances,it'll build up,snowball and eventually she is going to snap no doubt and thats when I have a legal case against her.Ahhh easy.

Yeah, I guess they are, my dad is a retired cop and he "got" to keep his radio when he retired.

Fight fire with fire.
Try to build a wall or fence to limit her visibility of your property
Keep a list of things she does, like her obsession with cats
KEEP SHOOTING AND KEEP SPUDDING

Don't let some old hag end your spudding career, Don't go down without a fight!

Dont let her bring you down, its your f**king house, do what ever the f**k you want as long as its legal

I hate neighbors, mine keep complaining of all the arrows stuck in their fence... (hey, I like to shoot my bow, and their fence is a great backstop  )

Do like josh did and build a shooting range under your house.

Or, just build a fence 12' high lined with sound-board.

EDIT: bountyhunter, cannons are illegal where RNA lives.

Oh, then give your guns some fancy name like Mr.C said before, and tell her that if she keeps up her "detective work" that you will never stop blasting music, and annoy her to death!

Where do you live? Australia?

I've got the best legal (pretty sure) idea, buy or find an mp3 of dogs barking and make her cats go crazy, shell think youve bought a dog, and when the cops come say you dont own one (do u). Anyways I think this picture sums it up, hehe

Yeah tell her to mind her own business or you will start doing the same, or call the cops on her for privacy related issues.

Yeah he's an Aussie

And your 'guns' are now 'Pneumatically Compressed Hydraulic Fluid Actuators' as far as she's concerned.

Or PCHFA's for short. :D
