ITWOST,

Went away for the weekend, stopped at the Lacombe Corn Maze. It was a longer walk than planned. :)

Interesting place, they had tons of stuff for the kids to do, and even something for the "big" kids.

I have to build myself one of these.

Looks cool Gippeto, what kind of range were they acheiving? I bet you had some advice for them too!

They were using electrically activated qev's. 3/4" on the corn canons.

They weren't fantastic performers, (compared to a piston anyway) but they were hitting the tree line in the background using potatoes on 75psi.

The "pumpkin" gun was getting about half that, but it WAS firing 4" pumpkins. 8)

Even got the wife to give it a try. :D

ITWOST, a rather impressive valve showed up in the mail, the result of what may be the best deal I've ever had on ANYTHING in this hobby.

Any chance on being less vague about it?

ITWOST

I have been making some plans for my hybrid over the past couple days. I also am waiting for a part to finish my bbmg its modeled after davidvainis(sp?) magazine one. I just need some air hose and the c02 inflater.

Aww, that'd ruin the fun!

And ITWOSY, I acquired 8 feet of 10" SDR 17 polyethylene pipe. Carnage will ensue.

Can anyone say "OMFG WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE?!?!?!"
8 feet of 10" pipe? That is ridiculous! What are you planning on making? Don't keep us in the dark.

Curse you dyi for being so vague!:D Does that have anything do do with the valve you got in the mail.

I doubt it. I wouldn't be anywhere near 10" polyethylene pipe pressurized above 2 PSI.

My best guess would be some sort of basketball cannon. It would have to be combustion most probably in order to make it safe. Of course, knowing DYI he'll probably make it a hybrid.

I HAZ SEMI AUTO!

I will post the cannon shortly. it works on the method posted by (i cant remember who) with the air cylinder attached to the chamber. It works Gloriously.

.177 BB's going 800 FPS are fun, but when you can get them out in sequence its far more fun. :D
