P.A.C. 6, Semi-Auto Air Cannon
Hey guys!
I was wondering if any of you have ever tried the plans for this semi auto spud gun. It's called the P.A.C. 6...here is the site I found it on http://www.xinventions.com/main/spud/pac6.htm , thanks for your help! and good luck with your cannons.

i havent tried to make it but if you take away the metal casing it does not look like a to hard design
before you criticise some one walk a mile in there shoes.
that way when you criticise them you are a mile away and you have there shoes.

I can understand that Drac...most of you guys seem very knowledgeable in pneumatic cannons. As for me, I am fairly new to the whole thing and just thought it may be a good way to get ideas even if i didn't end up making that exact cannon. I just don't want to spam you all with stupid noob questions. This site has been really helpful though and I really appreciate all you guys putting up with me.

It's not so much that we don't like helping newbs. We are more than willing to help, provided you can find as much information as possible before asking. We hate it when someone comes on here saying "omg i want to build a hybrid, can some1 gimme plans or sumthin to build one? thx"
The P.A.C. 6 looks like a basic blow forward bolt design, with a constant CO2 hookup encase in a fancy metal casing with lots of cosmetic design.
Yeah, I figured that...it is how my Tipmann m98 works...I just wasn't sure exactly how they put all the pieces together. My tippman has an exhaust valvle that is hit as the bolt is sprung forward when pressing the trigger...then is pushed back by the air pressure of the valve. I understand the concept really well...I just wasn't exactly sure how to fashon the parts from things readily available to me.
i'm not sure what valve you would use for something like a pac 6, in my semi auto paintball gun (many leaks, i trashed it) i used a small simple milk cap piston vented by a blowgun (really needed a 3 way solenoid). it was also a blow foward design i believe (spring returned bolt had a smaller hole than the pipe it was traveling in, so the air pushed if foward as it tried to get through the smaller hole, this cut off the magazine and fired the paintball). you could probably scale up the whole idea for a PAC 6, though it would probably need alot of fine tuning due to the size of the piston, air consumption, and weight of the bolt (good luck finding a spring)
