Tower Madness, a new iphone tower defense game, features spudgun turrets! I don't know whether or not it will be any good, but its nice to know that spudguns are going mainstream. Interesting take on design, I wonder how they get that to seal?

In the same way you could have automatic muzzle loading firearms.
Technically possible.
Of course if you turned it 90 degrees you have a drum magazine as a common revolver does which is a fairly conventional layout.

There was some fagtastic commercial for gum or something like that involving cannons that looked like this that shot lemons and oranges. If anything, these would probably be more akin to a softball pitcher than a cannon.
