Supersonic Airsoft BB's

Well guys, been a while since I posted properly because I have been tuning and making many new parts for my UK Airforce Condor.
Ive added a 24" .25 barrel, made my own Ultra Flow valve, and set up my own regulator system.
This setup will shoot 31 grain H&N barracudas at 950 FPS for over 40 shots.
So I was bored today, and wondered how fast a 6mm 0.2g airsoft BB would go.
It is an extremley loose fit in my barrel, 6mm BB vs 6.35mm bore.
I definatley was getting supersonic cracks so I broke out the chrony.
0.2g airsoft BBs
2000psi fill
1345
1367
1356
1324
1387
1397
and I stopped because my ears were hurting from the sonic boom.
All chrony results were taken 2m from the muzzle to eliminate muzzle blast.
I think that with a true 6mm barrel, I could hit into the 1500 fps

Ouch... that's pretty fast for airsoft. You have pics of the setup?

Thannks, the only thing standard is the frame and trigger group.
Everything else had been sourced and if I can't find it, I make it

Well it looks really nice. Is it single shot? What kind of velocities do you get with pellets or bbs of a better size?

Yeah it is single shot, I have an Air Arms S410 (The bottom one in the picture) with a 10 shot mag.
I have it tuned for 950 fps (Most accurate speed) with 31 grain H&N barracudas
I can crank the power up to shoot the H&N barracudas to around 1150 fps but they are really inacurate at that speed.

What is your ultra-flow valve?

Added a pic to the above post.
My valve is a hammer valve that offers MASSIVE flow.

What pressure are you using for the shot? Very nice build. Do you have plans to post it in the showcase?

All shots were all at 2000psi regualted.
However, being a hammer valve, it only uses a small amount of high pressure air.

Very nice, you should find a way of trying it out with some true 6mm tubing...

Yeah I might, or I will just turn some lightweight delrin pellets. Saves changing out the barrel.
Today I threaded it for a silencer, 1/2" x 20 UNF.
Shooting 31 grain pellets it is near enough silent, with just a high piched woosh of the air. Producing over 60 foot pounds.
Then stick in a airsoft BB and the supersonic crack echoes through the air. My mates wouldnt believe me that the crack didnt mean it was powerful and that the quiet one was WAY more powerful.
I also make a full length shroud to it aswell.

Beautiful. I haven't been around for a while and it looks like you've come a long way even when your old stuff was great. Do you have that particular gun on your FAC or is it for something else?

It is a Gunpower stealth, evertything has been upgraged except the frame.
New barrel, new hammer, new bottle, new valve, regulator etc.
Now that I have access to machine tools, I can finally make all of the ideas in my head.
Im going to sell the Air Arms S410 after I have it tuned right. Then start on another project of a HPA converted RWS 850 Airmagnum.
Its going to be a poor mans rapid
