hey dose anyone know what an ideal ratio for a combustion gun would be
i've built two and both seem really noisy my friend says his is alot quieter
like a swish mines really loud and sharp
im trying to quiet it down so the neighbors don't call the cops!

A high C:B ratio will waste power but produce noise, a low C:B ratio will not have enough power and will be quieter. A perfect C:B ratio will have a nice sound and waste minimal power.....no one can really agree on the perfect C;B ratio though.

they made a test on burnt latke......ideal ratio between 0.7:1 and 0.9:1.

As everyone else has said, about .8:1 is good, but that works best with metered propane.

If you're using spray deodorant, you might get better results with 1:1
