the price of tshirt guns

i was amazed to see the price of those commercial guns anyone here could make one for a fraction of that, does anyone have any experiance with these large ones and how well do they work.

Turbohacker sort of has some experiance. He hasn't built anything exactly like those cannons, but he has made several T-shirt cannons for his school.

They're expensive because they are all metal, high pressure set-ups that run off of CO2. Those require a machine shop, and plenty of labor.

sorta my dad has shown me but if i need to weld i probly could plus the trigger looks like a modded paintball gu is there any way to use a paintball gun as a valve because i have some spares

yeah find a e trigger or electric trigger Mod it with 2 more 9vt batterys and hook it up to the selanoid or im i wrong.....

I would guess the liability insurance they need to carry must run the price up. They do seem a little steep regardless.

Look how clean they are, businesses don't want tshirt guns made out of pvc with purple primer stains. To have all of that made probably isn't that cheap but yeah they aren't that complicated.

Yes, I have built several t shirt guns for local schools.
My most recent endeavor is an all metal launcher with a paintball gun trigger frame, and a diphrapm valve construction. This entire launcher will cost me less then $120 and is very similar to commercial models.
Ergo, I bilive that they are hugely overpriced aswell.
