If you can remember, How on earth did you find SF in the first place?
I found it looking at spudgun videos on youtube. People where saying " theres more info on spudfiles" and things like that until i finally searched it and found the best website ever!
Have your say.

When I was in elementary my brothers friend had a spray n pray, remember it shooting farther then my brothers could drive golf balls. I was enslaved at the concussive blast, simplicity, and range.
In middle school decided to build one via Google search. Can't remember the order of things, but in this early phase of building combustion launchers found SpudFiles through a search. Joined and turns out I'm member #34. Was over at SpudTech as well.

Found Airpower.net ( where pimpmann was a member already) and got linked to the spudgun webring.
wich led to Burntlatke and Takerlabs.
Through that I found both spudfiles and SGTC.
At least...If I remember correctly..it;s been a while.

I was googling for "aardappelkanon" (potato cannon in english) and then I found a more common word "spudgun" Then I got linked to a page that had multiple spudgun sites. I checked them all, and this was the best one. I clicked on "Cannons" and then on combustion, and saw all those homemade guns that people made. I thought "Wow I am in heaven. This is so cool
" And unfortunately became member.

I carried over from SpudTech as well. Had 554 posts there.
I had developed an interest in BB machine guns, and ended up over there somehow.

I was searching for information on HP air guns, came across many plans for guns and happened to drop in here and scan the forums for ideas and information to help me with my own projects. I had recently bought a mini lathe and mini mill and was aligning them up and practicing my new hobby when I thought about using it for some higher tech air and combustion guns. After scanning the site for a good while longer, I went ahead and signed up to participate. I believe my first encounter with SF was about 3 years ago while I was just entertaining the thought of a combustion launcher like I had built about 30 years ago. (Shows my age.... !!)
