Problem logging in with Chrome

Recently when I try to log on to the files with the Chrome browser, I get a "the web page is not available" error message. However, I can log on just fine with IE and with my i-devices. When I do manage to log on by clicking post a reply or new topic, my new messages are gone so I can't tell what threads have been posted on other than the recent topics. Anyone know what the problem could be?

It's weird because the problem arose out of nowhere!

The problem is <s>Botnet</s> Chrome. Firefox is far superior.

Try doing a reset so to speak, otherwise play with settings.

Does it try to load a different webpage then deflect to the cannot display error message? Scan your computer for malware/viruses, delete your temp files, then run update from your control panel.

Sometime restarting your computer straightens out these type issues.

No redirection, just a long delay then the error message.

I highly doubt it's malware, but I'll try the temp files and update.

Do you have any Java settings changed in Chrome? SpudFiles uses a unique way to encrypt passwords browser side so they are never sent over the Internet in clear text, and browsers not running Javascript properly can have problems logging in.

I'll have to check that when I get home. I think an update is in order, so we'll see what that does.
