would this work?

hey everyone. im new here.
i was wondering if this design would work.

Image

sorry the pic is small. if you cant see from the picture this is how it works. ill try to make an animation later. how do i make it loop?

when the bolt is in the rear position it hits the button on the lighter letting gas into the chamber through a tube. at the same time the next round is being put in position. then you close the bolt and click the peizo to ignite the gas in the chamber. then repeat the process.

if this is some genius idea (i doubt it) then please dont steal it.
if it has already been used and discussed, sorry.

peace,

from what i can see there is a lot of dead space (useless space between the chamber and projectile). other than that it looks good. i think the feed tube needs to be closer to the chamber. one other thing is i would add a ball valve to the feed tube, that way you only fire one shot at a time and dont waste any energy going out the feed tube rather than the barrel.

ps- dont ecpect more than about 150 feet or so, which is why im not going to steel the design from you.

I dont see the point of a bal valve on the feed tube since it onl loads one round when he pulls it back. But you should consider moving the feed tube back to reduce dead space, although in the end it is up to you.

You could vent using a chamber fan, but you would need some sort of exhaust valve or end cap that you could open.
