I've posted on alot of forums in my time, yet I can't seem to figure this one out:
When I submit a new topic, or reply to a thread, I have to refresh my browser (using Opera) just to view it. If I edit my post, then it takes multiple refreshes for the edit to appear. Sometimes it just doesn't work alltogether.
Almost every other forum out there seems to refresh immediately, why does this one take so long?

It works for me. Maybe it's something wrong on your end?TurboSuper wrote:I've posted on alot of forums in my time, yet I can't seem to figure this one out:

The forum works quickly for me.
A general rule of thumb when dealing with computers is that if it isn't working, carefully check the outer case of your computer, if you find any weird markings that looks like some sort of an apple your problem is obvious. Unfortunately to fix this problem you have to go buy a useful computer, just be sure to do the same checks so you can be sure you aren't getting another inferior machine.

I'm not a big fan of Mac's, I just checked Opera's site and they have a windows version too, I've always sorta associated Opera with Macintosh, you said in a later post that you use IE so I guess it didn't really apply.TurboSuper wrote:Just so you know, I lol'ed IRL.
I also suggest Firefox, I've been using it since it was pretty new, most of the features being added to other browsers are just copied off Firefox.
You can get it at www.Mozilla.com

I use opera, and I only have to refresh the page only once. Make sure you have the different scripting options enabled for spudfiles.
Also, dump your cache every once in a while. Sometimes I've had problems with this.
The only other problem I've had is sometimes is that images uploaded to spudfiles(the ones that appear in frames) only load halfway, then stop.
I don't have a mac, I just like how opera handles tabs and some other misc things better than FF.

Firefox does suck, I just post and check without refreshing. Whatever am I supposed to do with all that extra time? (ever see the Comcast commercial with the Slowskys)
