STORY TOME!! This cannon is my 6th. I named it the PVC_01, which stands for Piston Valved Co-axail and the 01 cause its my first co-axail.

Specs:
Chamber- 1.5"x3'
Barrel- .75"x2.75'
Piston- 1.5" solid type II pvc rod bored out in the back for lowering weight
Seal- Shower/bath liner($5 for 5'x1')
Pilot valve- 1/2" ball valve
Fill valve- Schrader valve

BTW i just finished gluing this cannon about 10 min ago, and was feeling impatient(sp?) so i posted it, as a result, no damage pics yet.

That about sums it up. What do you guys like/dislike?

major mistake! you cemented the piston inside. and this means that when something goes wrong (which its bound to do) you cant fix it without cutting off the bushing. i would suggest change to a threaded adaper before anything realy bad happens. trust me itll be worth it in the long run

Nice coaxial. If your launcher ever craps out on you, you can just cut the gun open and take the piston out and build a new gun with a threaded female adaptor, and a threaded male plug.

@Big-mac: yes i am taking this to the Texas meet. We will be sure to take lots of pics, and possibly some vids for all too see. Dont worry, we'll launch one for you!

Yeah, if anything goes wrong im gonna cun the end section off of the chamber and just glue a threaded adapter onto that, but like i said this was just a spare parts cannon, save for the ball valve. and I didnt think about piston service while throwing it together.

This quote from a while back suits that gun just fine, since I couldn't find the one I was looking for. :(

Same thing as an over under piston, and my over-under piston gun has less pilot volume than that thing. (When it's in proper working condition)

I originally thought you used PVC_01 because of this. 8)

Your piston gun is waiting for me to fix it in my garage. Right now it dont have a back plug so it has the pilot volume of the atmosphere.

Well, i found my bike pump, but it started tarding out, and wont pump past about 20 psi, plus my parental units are too cheap to buy me an air compressor. so i have to wait till my neighbor is back to borrow his.

Where'd you ge tthat confederacy flag? We should dress in gray and charge the north! (http://www.tv-links.co.uk/link.do/2/157/415/47653/69755 copy and paste it)

I like it, I've been too lazy/poor/inept to build a coaxial, but my next one will probly be one.
