I'm not sure that's entirely true.
I think for me it's pretty even - I remember good and bad events equally well I think.

Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

What a balls up of a post. What I actually meant was
It takes 10 good things to cancel a bad thing.
It's not techically remembering....it's more a case of how you feel. If one good thing and one bad thing happens to you don't feel 'normal' - you feel bad (until nine more good things happen to finally 'cancel' the bad thing).
Make sense?
Michael

Ah... that sounds more right. I'll have to think about that idea tonight.
Now, learning things like that makes me happy.

Thats why you "un-round" it to 9.3 or something, sounds so much better. For example: There are 19.4 sheep to every human in New Zealand. You believed it because the statistic looked professional, even though the real statistic is 20!To be honest I can't see it being 10 - sounds abit too 'round' for me......but I can easily see it being more than a 1:1 ratio as it were....
really good quote/phrase here
well for me i dont really remember much even if it makes me happy or not....Gepard wrote:Apparently you remember ten bad things that happen to you for each good thing....

You listen to QR as well? Randy Rhoads used to be the guitar player for them back in the seventies when they formed the band.
For you people that don't know him Randy is the dude in my Avatar.
