Yeah, that's right.. moo.

Hey.. just figured I'd say hello to the old gang since Spudtech's forums are gone...

Anyone miss me? haha.

Anyway.. i recently bought myself a little present..

it's not the best in the world, but i now own a 10 gallon Brute air compressor.. it's a briggs and stratton one.. called the Brute .. I'm guising it's a tool division of theirs, anyhow it was 100 bucks at a local wal-fart and i couldn't resist.

i also went to the local harbor freight store and picked up an un-restricted (until 110PSI) blow gun, tire chuck, air ratchet, 3" cutoff, and die grinder.

Anyway.. the basis of this post is to say hello, tell you all that remember me that i'm kinda back in the game and will be on here once in a while at least, and that i now have a means of compressed air.. so I'm probably gonna build a pneumatic cannon soon.. why? because I CAN!! mua hahaha.

Well yeah, I'm off to do something until i get too tired to stay awake.

Oh before i forget.. Shouts to Spudmonster, PCGUY, Drac, and anyone else who remembers me from Spudtech... no.. I'm not dead.

Well, some of the godfathers like DR and Plow are conspicuous by their absence...

As do I.

Welcome, Darth. Hope you're ready to kick ass.

I have the same air compressor, by the way. Puts out a good amount of air.

I'm a legend? haha wow.. I feel special now.. and yes, i know it puts out a decent amount of air.. 4.4CFM @ 90 PSI.. not bad for the price..but not the best.. it was either that or the slightly better CFM one from harbor freight but it was a lay down, 2 gallons less, and more money. it's enough to run a 3" cutoff at 60-90PSI for long enough to cut most of what I'll need to cut.. and i have a 1/2" drive air ratchet too, not to mention it will supply enough air to run a good quality low CFM impact as well as a die grinder, air drill, chisel, and more! It makes tightening and loosening bolts and stuff nice and fast hehe :D. not to mention the blow gun.. oh man.. i can't wait to think up a use for it.. and when my computer gets dusty... *goes out to garage* lol. I really don't know what i was thinking not having one.. well actually i do. my dad has two compressors (30 gal and a 60 gal stand up) not to mention a custom built air dryer(I'm gonna build one too) and all the air tools i could ever need for anything, so most of the time, i never needed a compressor.. then i got a need for one.. my cousin's car needed to be inspected and we needed air tools.. of course my dad was working second shift at the time so he was asleep when i called, and no one else really had a decent compressor to use.. so i thought to myself.. "hmm.. i have money, and i want a compressor.. let's go buy one" and of course if you know me i'm like a child when it comes to buying a new "toy" and that let to my compressor and air tools.. i had an impact, but it was a crappy one and didn't do squat.. so i'm gonna invest in a nice high torque one that will actually take lug nuts off haha.

man.. i really missed you all.. oh and in other news.. i made a new combustion since Eleanor.. clear chamber over/under.. oh and my dad got a new video camera this year and we got his cannon working.. and when 4th of July rolled around.. let's just say.. 3 propane spudguns, 2 old computer monitors, and hours of video footage. i need to get all the files from him and convert them from mp4 to a more common format so i can make a nice video and show you all..

man.. so nice to see you all again..

as for what took so long.. life.. i kinda forgot about spudguns.. well not really.. a true spudder never forgets, but yeah life has been busy.

now that i have a compressor.. I'm ITCHING(almost dying) to build a pneumatic so bad.. i think my first real pneumatic cannon is gonna be a marble/PB sniper.. i found out my local home depot has orbit valves.. bad part.. they have the stupid flow control thing on top.. good part.. (if I'm not mistaken) with a little modification, that part can be turned directly into a tapped hole for a 1/4" fitting.. best part being that when you do it you can leave part of the stem sticking off and bury the fitting deep into the plastic without hitting and restricting the diaphragm on up-travel.. so it might be nice after all..

anyway, i had an account on her a while back but i was rarely active due to spudtech, and PCGUY nipped my account during a clean up.. i've been keeping in touch with drac, PCGUY, and spudmonster as well as a couple others outside of the forums over AIM though.. and like i said, 4th of july was fun.. so i'm not totally out of the hobby, but due to finances and such i'm not totally in it either..

also.. if anyone needs anything soldered.. I'm IPC Class 3 solder certified (Thank You Bliley Technologies). I got that from my first (real)job ever towards the end of last year. And i have a Hakko 936-12 model ESD safe solder station and i'm considering buying another for dual iron ability for SMT work. I'd be very reasonable as far as cost wise.

Well.. i've gone and rambled on again, so much to catch up on.. again, glad to be back :D.

well, I'm out.. have to wake up in like not even 8 hours to get ready to go with my cousin to an appointment to get his car inspected finally.

oh also.. its possible that in the somewhat near future.. i might be moving to Pittsburgh with my aforementioned cousin and going to school down there.. just some other news..

alright.. i'm out.

EDIT: if i remember correctly.. DR has his own forums now (Jspellman showed me one day i was at his house) and i do have Plow's number floating around somewhere from when i sold him some 3/4" orbits maybe i'll give him a jingle and see where he's been..
