This is just one of your basic pneumatic cannons, with a modified 1" Orbit sprinkler valve. It has a 1"x24" barrel, and a 3" PVC chamber, which is 'bout 16 inches long, I know the ratio of volume is not equal, but is works like charm and I don't wanna change it so stay off my case about it. My other pneumatic broke cause I was trying to sleeve it, I wasn't thinkin and I put too much downward force on the barrel (already connected to the cannon) and it snapped at the 1" pipe (PVC). Damage pics soon to come. thanks.
Oh yeah, I am open to any suggestions.
Compact pneumatic
Nice. I love primer gray
Oh, by the way, JSR is going to get you on his efficiency rule.

wow, that gun sure is cool, I really like the pain job but I think you should change the amount of dead space? oh, but I was just wondering are all the parts pressure rated?

That looks like a fun gun to use, seeing as though you (like myself) can put up with dead space my suggestion would be a simple sliding breech loader. What is you favourite ammo?

The color is just gray primer. Yeah, all of the parts ARE pressure rated, I always make sure to get stuff that has a rating right there on it. I have to work something up for that dead space. Thanks for the comments guys!!

yeah, a breech loader is a good idea. I like to use dead C batteries, or ice slugs. I have also made lead shot for it but they give a lot of drag when I shoot 'em.

yeah, I was thinking about that, but I had a low budget and didn't want to spend that kind of money, I will definetely put one on later though. thanks.

I'm becoming predictable, aren't I?hubb017 wrote:Oh, by the way, JSR is going to get you on his efficiency rule.
Indeed, that hose is a little too long for my liking, shorten it and you'll see an increase in power - but otherwise, good job, bring on the damage pics

What is your primary ammo? It would cool to see it in a breech loading configuration, which would be as simple as cutting a hole in the barrel and putting one of these (called a repair coupling).

Very, very nice cannon indeed. I'll hopefully be posting a new one soon. Thinking full metal, semi, Inline piston valve and 10 shot mag.

Nice gun.....You should lighten things up a bit ,use an aluminum barrel...That way you could make the barrel longer and still have a lighter weight barrel....you can buy aluminun pipe sch 40 at Onlinemetals.com...The only thing you have to do is thread it,but I think the local hardwear stores will do it.......
Is all you do suggest aluminium barrels? You quote the same sites over and over again as good sources. It is clear you can't be a spambot, they simply don't have the intelligence to thread their posts in like you do.nivekatoz wrote:Nice gun.....You should lighten things up a bit ,use an aluminum barrel...That way you could make the barrel longer and still have a lighter weight barrel....you can buy aluminun pipe sch 40 at Onlinemetals.com...The only thing you have to do is thread it,but I think the local hardwear stores will do it.......
You still seem like some kind of sales person though.
What you are doing could be considered spamming the forum, and if you want to stay on, you need to stop that - spamming won't be tolerated if you just keep at it.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
