Too bad! Well, official velocity or not, the damage speaks for itself. Most impressive man

EDIT: Forgot to ask, what is holding your chamber and barrel together? They look nice...

To be honest, i dont know what the material is called, but basicly its some kind of plastic i cut to shape and drilled. Same material i used to hold the blowgun on the coaxial.

Ah ok I was wondering if they were something you had bought or made. We have a big sheet of 1" thick teflon-like material that I was planning on using to cut out some saddles like you have there.

Be careful of ricochets with the hard ammo.
I shot this aluminium pellet and it hit a roof top 30m behind me.
And If you've seen that video of the guy being hit by a .50cal ricochet, well it made that same whiizzz noise.
Cool but scary.

Believe me, im very much aware of ricochets. as of when i got the fridge compressor and upped the power of my launchers severely, ive been firing at targets in front of a soft backstop. I have been hit with ricochets from a 5,5mm airgun and that can really hurt - wouldnt want an 11mm ball bearing permanently mounted in my head :tard:

Even though that doesnt exactly sounds pleasant, it does in my oppinion sound better than a 11mm ball bearing or a 20g lead slug :D

This topic made it.. I definitely need to get my hands on a fridge compressor!

Would be interesting to see what distances could be reached with an arrow/crossbow bolt as ammo and 500 psi pressure. Well, probably you wouldn't ever see your projectile again.. But still..

Now just give them some nice shine and polish. :)

I was using 14mm aluminium diabolo pellets though :)
They work great, appart from the ricochet problem, they fly fast and straight, i'll try casting some out of lead or some other soft metal someday.

I haven't tried arrows or flechettes at high pressure yet, i would hate it if one of the fins was to come off though...

Btw i didn't mention it, but nice cannons ;)
