Well we are 99.99% male here...kind of makes that a no-brainer. Haven't seen very many damage videos shot with a Celine Dion song mixed in the back.... ..not that there couldn't be of course...

I have seen a few with the 1812 in the back....

Thats a sweet bass, what color are you going to paint it? You should put one of those fire pods in the back so that it shoots fire... :D

Not sure what color its going to be yet, im thinking of using varnish so that the red of the wood comes out really nice because i think the grain will give it a good effect.

It would be awesome to have it shoot fire, especially as its a dragon lol

how about running a fine blowtorch flame over all your detail then covering it in a 2 part hard varnish and a quick polish.

the varnish really exentuates the burn especially in a wood like sapele with its lovely grain.

That sounds like a good idea Carlman, I don't really want to cover the wood with any sort of paint as i've worked with sapele before and I know that the grain on it is very nice with the right finish on it.

Ive uploaded a small clip just of me picking each string then badly tapping the NIB riff just to see what the sound was like on it, unfortunately you have to download the clip to listen so its up to you if you do or not. My playing doesn't sound good because i was playing one handed as i haven't connected the electronics yet so i was using one hand to hold the wires in place lol.

i started woodworking when i was in year 7 or so, always loved it.

havnt done much as of late, only limited tools because of finishing school.

Ive made 2 6 seater dining tables, a hall table, couple of stools, trinkit box, model boat and various other things. I love using lathes to make bowls and goblets and such.

I will get pics of what i can i sold most of my work.

Thats weird, Im pretty much exactly the same, I havn't made alot of furniture yet because my school and college don't do furniture courses so its all joinery stuff which isn't as good but its useful learning it, but I love using lathes to, I have 3 available to me...greedy I no lol. Ive sold most of my work as well, and have some things ive made in a couple of galleries and Ive been asked to do some turning work for a furniture maker in the area. Im planning on making furniture for a living and them doing turning as a side line and i'd also like to make guitars because i really enjoyed making this one.
