Way to go on the hybriding! The only thing that seems out of place is the BBQ ignitor and gangly wiring. You may find it harder to get a spark as the X's go up with it.

Otherwise good job on the machining work and general layout. Are you planning anything other than earplug ammo?

Nice hybrid man. I really like the look of machined spud guns. That red burst disk didn't come from a pneumatic rocket did it? I have seen something similar before and the burst pressure was only 120 psi or was it 90 psi?

Great work man, can't wait to see some 50x shots coming from this.

If you had posted this 4 months ago when you made it, it would have been the highest mix hybrid. Yet you had to procrastinate and now Larda beat you. :D :D :D :D

Overall 10/10

Yep carlman got it, I once saw a foam rocket launcher where you put in a pre-made disk and screwed in a coupler over it.

The red disc is simply a "washer" that goes between the front half of the union, after that the burst disc, then the brass union "plug". I didn't really need to use the disc but it made it feel more reliable.

The burst disc (brown) as shown is tygaflor t.m. , this is strong shit, .1mm thick and i could not get it to burst under 160psi (1/2" union).
I now use Polytetrafluroethalene burst discs, commonly known as p.t.f.e. of teflon. These are .25mm thick and very reliable, i use two for a 9x mix, three don't burst.

P.M. Me carlman, i need your address!

Edit f'n edit: RNA, the thread on my sparkplug is 12mm coarse, i failed to remember modifying it! :D Use a Helicoil.
