Cookies. You'll stay logged in as long as you keep the cookie from spudfiles. If you're using Firefox, you can configure the options to not delete that cookie. It could also have something to do with any software firewall/privacy software you're using.

As long as you don't uncheck the box that says "Remember me" or something like that (their checked by default), then you will stay loged in unless you clear your cookies out. You also may have the privacy settings set too high and your computer is blocking cookies from SpudFiles.

Some web browsers (Firefox, etc...) let you specify to always keep certian cookies. Check your browser's options and see if you can set it to never delete the spudfiles cookie.
What browser are you using? Firefox keeps me logged in until I clear my cookies, and when I clear my cookies, it automatically enters my username and password for me so all I have to do is click "login". Give it a try.

I have the auto-login thing marked by default for you guys, since I figure if your somewhere where you don't want to be auto-loged in you will uncheck it, and most of the time you will be at home or whatever so it's fairly safe to have it checked by default.
