ok so i have been looking for a good way to build a piston for my 2 inch and it looks like youve got one of the best. (i think you guys will enjoy it once its done due to its veryy interesting reloading system) but anyway, you lost me at "Cut your 1/4 off your coupling, make sure it is perfectly straight. " now is the 1/4 refering to the 1 1/4 coupling, cut off 1/4 inch, or cut off 1/4 of the entire coupling. after that step the rest of the step by steps besides building the piston and pilot system (the rest of the housing bassically would be really appreciated)
but alas, sorry for my incompetence and thanks again guys
How I built my 2" piston valve

I removed 1/4" of the total coupling for this, but I just rebuilt my valve.
3.8" x 1 1/2" sch 40 into 2.8 x 2" sch 80
The 1 1/2" pipe into the 2" pipe. The side with the 1 1/2" pipe will go to the center of the tee and be your sealing face, make sure its perfectly flat.
Once you glue that into the tee you'll have a small amount hanging out, glue a 2" female adapter on there. On the back side a piece of 2.8" pipe into the tee then another female adapter onto that. (This side will be your guide pipe for the piston) I guess I'll grab my video camera and do a step by step for this. Video will be up soon.

and now im a little confused again(sorry) are you using a 1 1/4 coupling, or a 1 1/2 section of pipe?
