Well, I'm no adhesives expert, but judging by the materials you've listed...
JB Weld.
EDIT: a small wood or plastics screw through the sealing face into the piston will do much better than adhesives alone.

Yes, it doesnt matter whether you feed it with 20 or 200 bar, it works on 8 bar at all times. 30 bar is nothing more then the maximum pressure I have readily available.jimmy101 wrote:Psycix: How much of the faster cycling (in the video) is due to the higher pressure in the HPA tank versus the fridge compressor, and how much is due to the much higher flow rate of the HPA tank? It's the high flow rate that actually gives the higher cycle rate isn't it?
I can also fire it quite rapidly from the reservoir of my air compressor, but since it stops cycling at 8 bar, the 10bar, 25 liter reservoir gives significantly less shots then the 30 bar, 10 liter one.
I do not use an HPA tank, I use a fire extinguisher as air tank, which I fill using the fridge compressor, allowing for much more flow output, but both put out 30 bar at max.
So the faster firing rate is due to the higher flow rate. Of course higher pressure helps increasing flow.

Too busy right now but I've still got that 19 bar pop-off waiting on you Psy.
More relevant to this topic perhaps, A modded 1/2" QEV ( accepting chamberside pressurisation) actuates beautifully by means of a pop-off.
Psy's vid shows a 1/4" qev, but this idea could very easily be taken to a larger scale.
Of course a larger valve would also perform the auto-feat, if it where piloted by the smaller QEV.
The modded QEV set-up could be used to optimise ergonomics.

If the projectile will be an airsoft bb, combine the two.

The dimensions of a standard airsoft nozzle (part that will go into the hopup) are as follows:

then, 7/16 of an inch from the front it expands outwards to 19/64 of an inch.
the last 7/64" of the nozzle is the piece that the tappet plate rests on. I wont get dimensions, because it seems like your going to do something else than mount it in an airsoft gun.
Only other thing is the ID of the nozzle I have here is 7/32".
Also, It should be known Im 99% sure you don't need the taper at the back for it to work, but leave it in just in case. That and at the tip of almost all nozzles there are little nubs that prevent the BB from getting stuck in the nozzle. try it without them first, but im pretty sure your going to need those.
