Remember the guy calling himself " tvproducer"?

Probably made by him..

although I have heard no SF member claim to have been involved..

I wonder if those spudguns are as sophistocated as he claims

"sophisticated" spray and prays. Man, call me weird, but this really hurts me emotionally. If only they would have at least googled the words "spud gun", they would have found something more impressive. Immagine if they were aware of how far the spud gun has actually come. That would have actually been more show worthy.

The media likes to scaremonger though, perhaps it's better if they keep up the general impression that spudguns are harmless little hairspray cannons as opposed to some of the monsters on this site ;)

I'm still shaking after watching Jack Hoggs video...

But he's shooting some heavy spuds...lead ones.

It would be fun if Discovery channel did a show on us though..
I have seen shows about guys who had built flight sims in their garages..all over the world.....so why not about us?

Know of any discovery producers that are out of idea's??
" spudgun build-off" would probably get some decent ratings.
It would fit right in between Scrap-heap, Weapon masters, Bang goes the theory and Mythbusters...

The show could first portrait the -on site- build and then gradually build up to a shooting range finally, testing accuracy, power and range.

Maybe we could propose this to Discovery??
