Any time is a good time too hack off the barrel....
And you can shove it up your sleeve buddy..
The bullock..I mean boltlock is working..
Enough hijack:
Hi, Jack:
Have you decided on a colour or color yet?
( depending on American or English spelling)
As we are discussing vehicle-hobbies that go at the expense of spudding:
I contacted the Chinese manufacturer of these:
I'm quite satisfied with the 4 stroke engines they make, but a "chopper" style scooter would offer me more style..
Maybe I can finally get something out of owning a business..
They can't be too expensive...
Seems like a fun project.
I got all the tools I need to take off all the unnessecary bits and a fresh spraycan of flat black paint..

Given your big frame, wouldn't it look a little silly?
As to colour, I'm going for something vaguely like this, tan/sand sort of colour:

You left us for that? Hmm needs more epoxy! Just kidding looks great, glad to see that you've kept your word about fixing it up. Although i will be waiting from when you get so bored with it that you turn it into a super jeepjackssmirkingrevenge wrote:yes, the "jeep" was one of the reason's for JSR's brief outage

Wow that does look really nice. This gives me a very pointless idea of dying my epoxy to different colors just for eye appeal. What did you use as a mold for the epoxy?jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Here you go, painted the lettering on the radiator grille silver and poured some on to finish it off, looks greatMr.Sandman wrote:Hmm needs more epoxy!

In this case, the area where I poured it is recessed so no need for a mould, it's just a question of filling inMr.Sandman wrote:What did you use as a mold for the epoxy?

Steves.
The lot of you!
Replaced the feeble old headlamps with H4 halogens, you can hear the *FOOM* when I flick the light switch now

I've got an item that would look right at home mounted on a pedestal in the bed of that vehicle. Your neighbors would be quite impressed!

Landrover tip: if it stopped leaking, it needs to be topped up
