That's one frickin' long sentence.MrCrowley wrote:WOW!! how long would my spring need to be?im going to use a 3"tee ,and a 45mm barrel out for GBs and im going to make a piston out of a pringles can put some rubber on the end and attatch it using a bolt to give the piston some extra weight and fill the can with hard foam or epoxy something that will dry hard,i plan on cutting up a mouse pad and padding the inside of the end cap and put a spring on the end cap or i might put it on the pringles can.
It should be 3 sentences; there's a comma splice in there. Bad! Comma splice bad! May your English teacher assign you many grammar exercises!

If you want to get technical, MrCrowly, they don't have to have a capital afterwards. If in a book you read " 'Oh my gosh!' said Johnny." The sentence wouldn't end until after Johnny.

Get a 3" coupling and glue it to some wood and then get some short lenghts of string. Then takle some hot glue or some expoz and fill it up and then glue your spring on and the selaing face, and I dont know how long the spring I am still in R and D.

True- but how cool would that be to see your valve work? :]
I have considering doing this in a smaller situation, such as in a 1" tee with 3/4" porting or a 1.5" tee with 1" porting. Keep in mind that clear PVC parts (even SCH 80 ones) are way weaker than regular, opaque ones. While a small piston valve would probably not be too much of a danger, a larger one (such as 3" or above) would be dangerous.
"Just as strong, rigid, and corrosion resistant as white PVC, but these fittings are transparent so you can see what's flowing through your system." you could make a really cool 2" valve for around $40

in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08
