Yes it will work..it would perhaps just be easier to dust your projectiles in graphite or ptfe and lube the barrel.

10x is about as high as I want to go, maybe up to 12x. But I am looking at normaly opperating at 7x. The point of the teflon liner is to achieve a better barrel-ammo fit. I have found that I can get a closer tolerance using teflon over steel tubing.
