It looks pretty nice. The stock looks kinda small, but whatever works for you! I like it!

Yeah, the proportions looks a little of, probably because of the total length, it is kind of a long gun. Thx anyway :)

if i had a barrel sealing piston valve with spring behind the piston, would it be semi-automatic if i pilot it with small qev?

yes

if so, do the small qev need to have a spring?

no
Nope that's wrong... if you fill it from the chamebr side then you can achieve semi-automatic fire with a blowgun (or a similar valve)...

Unfortunately, a small QEV won't work becasue the piston acts as a check valve and it will open as soon as pressure is present on the pilot side of the main piston valve.

If you want to fill it from the pilot side then you need a DCV valve (a.k.a. a 3way valve). That's the best way to achieve semi-automatic fire with a QEV

Hadn't Brian succesfully modded a QEV with the simple expedient of a pin-prick equilisation hole?

Almost finished. Did this stock in a hurry so the finish is not nearly
as good as the other one. Im painting it now, pics will come soon :) .

The chamber is made of 1-1/4" "metal-pipe-fittings" (dont know the correct terms in english :P ).

Swosh, the gun is quite powerful :o .

Testshot @ 4.5cm (1.77") wood.

Btw, any tip on a good (and maybe cheap?) .50 ammo? Tested .47" wooden balls, but that was a catastrophe... .50" airgun lead
pellets would be nice, but I can only find them in america = too high shipping costs to europa.
