What is the recommended pipe or tube thickness to hold threads safely
thanks in advance
What thickness For Threading
Entirely depends on the material in question, the pipe diameter, as well as the coarseness of the threads and the desired safety factor.AlphaOmega wrote:What is the recommended pipe or tube thickness to hold threads safely

Depends on the material and what forces you'll be subjecting it to I suppose... is this to thread a barrel or chamber into your QEV

Depends on what pressure you want it to hold, and the diameter. Larger diameters and pressures require thicker walls.
