When I use co2 in paintball my gun gets real cold. So if your using a pneumatic pvc gun and your source or air is co2 wouldnt it make your chamber brittle from the temperature?

well the pressure of co2 is around 900psi and pvc is rated to only 200 - 300 psi... do you see the problem. now of course if you use a regulator you'll be fine

Just make sure you don't let liquid co2 enter your gun. For two major reasons.

One: Liquid co2 is extremely cold.

Two: The second the liquid co2 enters your gun it will evaporate until your chamber reaches around 1000psi or explodes.

Also just so you know liquid co2 can pass through regulators.

The best way to keep liquid co2 out of your gun is to mount the co2 bottle vertically with the valve up so liquid doesn't simply run into your gun. Unless you have an anti-syphon tube, if you do then you want to mount your tank horizontally with the anti-syphon tube facing up.

People use 12 grams all the time. They're fine as long as you measure your chamber volume well. Use BC Pneumatics' chart, it will help you plan.

Ya I knew about the chart and used it on my new gun... notice I said
"although the pressure scale is probebly with liquad and all (evaporated)"
Movie dialogue: "The good die first."
Tom: "But most of us are morally ambiguous, which explains our random dying
patterns."
