I suppose I'll add my last second entry. If anyone can guess the song title(s), you get bonus points.

EDIT(this is for you, JSR): I did not mean 'topping' in any of these senses

Perhaps I'll edit the video (again)  Yeah, I think I'll do that. exclusively for comic reference, here is a link to the old one.

Not having any video editing software, here is my raw video entry, such as it is.

I will lock this tomorrow morning December 1st. If you have a last minute enter, get it in here. Good luck to all that have entered.

Edit: If I counted correctly, 10 enters. Looks like a contest...

I wasn't able to get in an entry. Sorry. Wouldn't have been anything spectacular if I did anyhow. Good luck to all

Mine wasn't very spectacular at all... except for one frame if you hunt it down. I even shot it at night. I'm sure you could have out-performed me.

Given the number of active members, hardly. Did we set the bar too high? I can understand limited entries for an innovative design contest, but best shot on video? Moar powah! does not necessarily equal better video, so this is something anyone with even the most basic launcher can partake in.

Is the weather/school that much of a factor as suggested earlier?

Definitely school.
Haven't had time for spudding. Too much music and acedemics. I am planning an HP copper piston cannon but that might now happen for a while... I could have done a golf ball shot but I never got around to making a good video.

Me to. Living in the middle of a city is a pain in the ass though. I didn't have the energy to drive 2 hours in each direction just to video a lime flying through the air. That would have basically wiped out half of a weekend.

Weather not for me. I'd shoot and film in a blizzard. School is another matter. I didn't get to work on spudding much until Thanksgiving break, and then all of that was taken up with constructing my piston. By the time I'd completed that, I had to film in the dark. However, now that I have everything working, I now have the time to play around with a working model. I was actually originally planning to shoot water for the contest but common sense prevailed when I realized how much kick is produced without a projectile.

Also not helping was the total lack of a proper gauge on my part, but that's a highly personal issue.

Here is my entry.

50cal lead muzzle loader slug, in a sabot.
This shot was done at 550psi.

10:58 pm on the last day of November.... last minuet. Haha

I also shot some 1/16'' sheet steel at 650psi, but failed to find the round. the hole was rather impressive, but the video was not.

Well, I'm not sure if it's past the deadline but I just realised that you can submit previously uploaded shots...

In that case, this is my entry, provided that the deadline hasn't passed.

I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Again, good luck because the prizes are nice to say the least.
