I'm still thinking of ways to track the projectile, perhaps I'll query another forum as well.

I was thinking about that and have come up with an idea, a small radio transmitter would be placed in the projectile and set to a known frequency. Then you would get a handheld radio and attach a pipe wrapped in aluminum foil to the end of the antenna with the open end pointing away from you and set the radio to that frequency and just follow the direction of the noise.I'm still thinking of ways to track the projectile, perhaps I'll query another forum as well.

you can take the gps chip out of a phone and power it with a AAA battery, with a small antenna of course
But what would said GPS chip do? It's not that simple...
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.

A cheaper GPS option was suggested in the long range thread, still a bit bulky and rtisky to be fired though.seeyouinhell2mf wrote:you can take the gps chip out of a phone and power it with a AAA battery, with a small antenna of course
