I have a 1/2" QEV so would a 1" Sprinkler valve be more effective than that? Would a 3/4" QEV be even more effective than that?

I was thinking it would be 1/2" ,sprinkler, then 3/4" going from least effective to most.
If your getting chased off a police dog, try not to run through a tunnel then onto a small see-saw then through a ring of fire. They are trained for that!

Well the 1/2inch QEV probably wont have as good a flow as the 1"sprinkler valve but a 3/4 QEV does sound rather nice.

A 3/4" sprinkler would have to flow at roughly 50% efficiency to have the same flow as a 1" sprinkler (assuming the "3/4" is the porting).
Considering the valve geometry, I'd say that a 3/4" QEV probably has a bit more flow than a 1" sprinkler valve.

Good because I have just bought a 3/4" QEV.
