Something POLAND_SPUD mentioned recently... could be a good way to make reciprocating feed/valve mechanisms for those without the benefit of metalwork facilities.

Intel made a big announcement this morning. While Vera went big, Intel went small. I love my work.
It is true that no optical microscope can see these. The device is smaller than a visible optical wavelength of light. The spacing is 22 nm.
The light spectrum of visible light has a wavelength in a range from about 380 or 400 nanometres to about 760 or 780 nm. No amount of microscope power can magnify it large enough to see it.

This is huge. They have been working on this for a long time. Just like an air cannon, the efficiency through the valve affects the speed and performance. These are fast and tiny.

If a decent number of those targeted refused to pay the out-of-court settlement, most of them wouldn't see the inside of a court room.

In the US they do very well. They threaten you with a lawsuit. It boils down to we can make it go away for between $2500 and $5000. If you don't make it go away, we sue. For those who do go to court they sue for $150,000 per infringement. Care to take your chances. Your best bet is to be "Judgment Proof" They sue, they win, you have no money. They can't collect. They brag they won as a publicity stunt.
