Demon, I have an idea for you, but I am not sure. Can I see a video or a picture of the area your having problems with? I was thinking a paper sabot, with marbles or some thing. I made a few with empty shotgun shells, and they work perfectly in my 3/4" barrel (electrical conduit and sch 40 pvc.).

How did the police get to it in the first place?
I love lamp
An operator failure... We'd still like to know about it, if you don't mind too much.

Yeah I'd like to know also, so I and others don't make the same mistake. I understand Canada has strict air rifles laws governed not by velocity but by muzzle energy, correct?
I assume you either shot it in your backyard and someone called the cops on you or you asked the cops whether your gun was legal/could be legalised with the correct papers. Can't think of many other ways the cops could catch you.

One of those reasons why I've lost enthusiasm.
Urban area and no suitable land nearby.
I can count the number of times I've fired my cannons in the last 5 years on the fingers of one head.
I hope you're not facing anything other than confiscation?

Nosey neighbors no doubt. Situations like this are why I do not believe in close proximity housing.
A similar case, I had a thoroughly insulated shed at a buddies place used as a practice space for my band, and sure enough his neighbors (two doors down, mind you), with nothing better to do had to complain about noise that hardly rivals a lawn mower.
Community life is not for the artist or for the mad genius scientist crazy people, or any combination of the two. I'm sure most of you can relate.

Shame. It would be interesting to know the circumstances of the event in order that at least others could learn from your mistakes/indiscretion.
As above I also hope that confiscation of the launcher was the worst you had to suffer in terms of legal repercussions.
