Shotgun testing (damage pics)
I got my shotgun working and did some tests today. All tests were done at 50 psi and the shotgun is quite powerfull. This would be longer but earlyer when I had half of my post done the internet turned off. Here's some pics.

Forever dreaming...
I don't have any spare car hoods lying around. On Monday I am picking up a 20oz co2 tank for this baby, then all I need is a regulator and some fittings. And a better exhaust valve but I don't know what kind of exhaust valve to get.
Forever dreaming...

No they don't.That's why I use ball valves to excaust. You can bend the handle on it to look more like a real trigger.
Drill a hole in the handle and you can add a spring.

you know, if i was to shoot a cactus, i would eagerly await the moment it just explodes like a melon shot by a 50 cal. thats one tough cactus lol, nice pics and nice work

It might be kind of hard to see the damage on the cactus, I have shot them often. If you look closely you can see where pieces have been knocked off. The round only brushed the side. That cactus is more than 12m tall and as hard as a tree.
I am unsure of the size but the ball valve is 1/2 inch. I really want to fire this thing at high pressure but I can't because there is no means of pressurizing it that high. I want to do so much to this gun but I don't have enough money right now, I need a job When I have time I have an old pc keybourd I would like to use as a target.
It is coming along nicely, by October everything should be sorted. Look forward to see this thing when it is finished 8)

Depending on what type of regulator I get I am hopeing 200psi per shot. Tomorrow is Monday, sucks because of school, yay because of cylinder. I would like to weld up the prototype chamber so it is only two pieces.
