To make mine easy to seat, I added a small mechanical stop on the small cannon so the piston could not be pushed too far forward. Closing the valve properly is as simple as pushing in the knob until it stops.

A bit too fast with my PM, Looks very nice
Also a very nice polymer, I may take this up to 500 psi when I get a fridgy, And I definately want something strong

Acetal is surprisingly tough stuff, I would definitely trust this at 500 psi. I suggest a 10mm washer to spread the load though. Also a very nice polymer, I may take this up to 500 psi when I get a fridgy, And I definately want something strong
Excellent, glad you like it looking forward to seeing it being put to good usejakethebeast wrote:JSR, received the valve today, its awesome! fantastic craftsmanship!

While it is at your place, Would it be a lot of work to put a slight bevel on the outer edges of the piston?
Sharp outer edges on plastic objects tend to get very ugly
Not necessary for the O-ring grooves BTW.

They will become tiresome, besides the machining and ladies aren't mutually exclusive. Make "erotic massagers" and you'll be beating them off with a stickI still prefer girls over lathes

Looking very good, JSR.
The price is almost too low
I have found one that thinks my spudgun collection is "cute"
